Today is Nov. 11, the day we in the United States mark Veterans Day. Originally known as Armistice Day for being the anniversary of the day combat ended in World War I in 1918, this holiday later grew into a day to honor U.S. veterans of all wars.
Serving in the military in wartime is perhaps the greatest sacrifice one can make for one’s country. War often sends soldiers thousands of miles away from home and family, where they may encounter terrible violence and uncertainty when, or if, they will get home safely.
This sacrifice in the name of liberty is one that we will never forget. We at DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC humbly thank each and every U.S. veteran for their service to the country that we love, and wish them a meaningful Veterans Day.
