Part of overall health and well-being is to maintain proper nutrition. March is National Nutrition Month, so it is a great time for your entire family to focus on health and fitness. You can do this through eating nourishing meals and getting regular exercise.
The American Dietetic Association (ADA), which is now known as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, founded National Nutrition Month in 1973. At that time, it was only a week long, but that changed in 1980 due to the popularity of the educational campaign. This year’s theme for National Nutrition Month is “Bite into a Healthy Lifestyle,” which encourages good eating habits combined with physical activity.
At Deshon Laraye Pullen PC, we are committed to the well-being of our clients and our team. We encourage you to think about improving eating and exercise habits to help your family live a healthy lifestyle.
